Property Technologies provides a full design team, covering Electrical, Mechanical, Vertical Transport, Fire and ESD services in house, with our associate consultant providing Hydraulic services design. We are available to carry out projects within Australia, and indeed, world wide at the discretion of our clients. We have completed projects located from Darwin, along the Eastern seaboard through to Sydney and inland to Bourke, Alice Springs and Mt Isa. Recent overseas projects include Nigeria, New Caledonia and New Guinea. At Property Technologies we are determined not to rest on our laurels and are looking to take the phrase “Multi-Disciplinary” to a level rarely seen in the building services industry. We present designs that are fully co-ordinated from start to finish in a greatly reduced time, without compromising our superior attention to detail. Our team consists of multiple RPEQ qualified engineers, NABERS Accredited Assessors, Greenstar Accredited Professionals, Water Efficiency Assessors and a full CAD in house drafting compliment. In 2005, Property Technologies celebrated 20 years of engineering excellence. Since 1985, we have provided a personalised service in the building services engineering field to a client base consisting of developers, architects, builders, project managers and owners. We have constantly evolved with the industry and always strive to stay on the cutting edge. In early 1999, our senior management realised that changes within the traditional construction industry design system had occurred. The traditional in-house client project group had downsized radically and the focus of this group was changed. Traditionally used to review and cross check Architectural, Structural, Civil and Services Engineers drawings, the focus of the in-house design team was now on providing improved design briefs. Coincidental with the change in management focus came major improvements in data and drawing transfer through the internet. Principally all consultants now simply take the architects' base drawings as electronic drawings and place their designs over them. Often there is now no fully co-ordinated drawing review process in place. In 2000, this new focus for the industry caused Property Technologies to review the way they approached projects. A new 5 year plan to upgrade the disciplines carried out within the practice, and to provide a full in-house team that could cover all disciplines was put into place. Our belief was that this would allow our own in-house coordination, thus achieving fully coordinated services engineering drawings, removing inaccuracies and minimising construction variations. At the end of 2005, we were proud to announce that we had achieved our 5 year goal. We now have a fully operational in-house design team covering all services disciplines.Property Technologies turns 25 in 2010 and is happy to announce they are moving forward with speed. 2010 will be a watershed year for the construction industry with major changes being made to the BCA as the Government moves towards a more sustainable future. From our Recliffe base we have proudly serviced our clients with high standard, sustainable designs for 25 years. Property Technologies has always incorporated sustainable principles into their designs, making it very easy for our clients’ to meet the new government regulations. WE look forwrad to the future and continuing to deliver the high level of service expected of the engineers at Property Technologies. |
